Overall, I am pretty happy with this product. However, I had some very slight issues. Please note, I have an A&E awning, model 8500, 16 feet wide.Number 1- I ordered the checkered awning, since my RV has a racing stripe and wanted to stay "on brand" haha. But the checkered graphic was more like grey and black and not a vivid white and black like I was expecting. I may have missed something when ordering.Number 2- INSTRUCTIONS WERE SUPPLIED . However, I had to google for a few hours and work through some trial and error. It’s better to see all the nuanced steps instead of reading a sheet of instructions woth no photos.I did this job by myself. Online videos recommend having 2, and more like 3, people to assist. I did this on my own, without any ladders, and it was quite a task. Took me total about 4 hours not counting me having to stop and research.I went onto the roof, with the awning still in its plastic wrap, and worked it into the channel inch by inch, slowly unwrapping each section. Like a boa constrictor eating an animal.Use silicone spray in the channels to make it slide on easier.I didn't have ladders so I used a BBQ grill to lay each arm on. And I was on the roof a lot.My vice grips slipped when detaching the shaft and the entire awning tension spring unwound. That was pretty scary.Facing the awning head on, staring perpendicular to the side of the RV, I wound the right side of the tension spring 13 times (it needed at least 15, I discovered) counter clockwise.Facing the awning head on, staring perpendicular to the side of the RV, I wound the left side of the tension spring 13 times (it needed at least 15, I discovered) clockwise.I have little teeny tiny baby hands, so I did need assistance gripping the hand riveter. My hand strength died after doing 3 of the 6 pop rivets.A spider landed on me. I screamed. No stars deducted for the spider. I'm sure he no longer works for Sunshade Pro.So other than the strange grey and black checkers at a slanted angle, I am pretty happy overall.
