8' x 2' blue awning.Pros:1)Was easy to assemble and mount once I got the missing part sorted out. Took less than 1 hour to actually mount.2)Provides needed shade and hopefully saves money on cooling.3)Looks decent, color is pretty much what the picture shows.4)Price was right.Cons:1)Count your parts before you start, unfortunately mine arrived missing a small part (one of the threaded connectors). A trip to a hardware store for a donor bolt (M12x1.75) and a hacksaw solved that but I was annoyed. I'm probably more forgiving about this than most people.2)Instructions could certainly be better, and written for the actual awning size you receive instead of a generic diagram showing a smaller size.3)It is not a long term solution and I wouldn't expect it to survive a strong storm when extended. For the price I am satisfied.All in all it works as expected and was inexpensive. If it lasts a year I'll be satisfied.P.S. Preview of pics wants to be upside down for unknown reason? Sorry if they post that way.They'll fade eventually. Aleko doesn't offer the canvas only for replacement. You'll have to buy the whole assembly and canvas to replace the old.Attaching the canvas to the front corners of the frame is very difficult if not impossible to do correctly. The Velcro straps for the corners are way too close together.Okay...so at first I loved them. And then they started to fade...and now only 6 months after hanging them they are significantly lighter than black. In the bright sunlight they look purple/gray. In the photo I'm sharing it doesn't show this much...because it's shaded when I took the picture. Look closely and you and you can see that compared to my black shutters the awnings are much lighter in color. My husband wants to spray paint them b/c they look so bad already:( I had thought this was a great buy compared to the $1200 bucks a local business was going to charge me to replace them...which is really high! But it's really hard putting these up and they look awful in such a short time. I think next time I will go with metal and with a local store. If you just need something to block the light from your house these will do the job but be prepared to get what you paid for...they are cheap and they will fade very quickly. Maybe if they have a white or light color it would be better.Ordered these to replace my same 4 year old ones.it’s less then a month and they are faded.they refunded my money because of this and the fact that I paid some one 150 to put them up.what h out don’t order or at your own riskgreat value but be aware that the fabric might come from different runs-the first set we got-1 was a return so it had no hardware- the company totally made it right by send a whole other one. Well that was good because the black awning didn't match the others it was more faded- so at least we have the original one with out hardware to replace it or we would have had to complain. But if you goal is to add a splash of finishing touch and provide shade then you can't beat this value!Great buy for the money! Holes were the same as previous Aleko awning so install was easyWe purchased this awning in February, 2015. I was worried about it fading quickly and unfortunately my worries came true. It is now a very light gray. :( Shipping and delivery was excellent. I just wished the quality of the product had been better. As a side note, I do live in Florida and it has been a very warm summer but it seems that since these awnings are made for outside they'd have a better fabric.Très belle qualité, grandeur exacte, tissu parfait imperméable, contour blanc de la jupette non indiqué par contre.
