I should take a photo during the daytime when it blocks the Sunlight, because it works well. I bought a smaller one for the little spot in the corner, and it's a delight. I enjoy it very much. It turned a corner of a building into a cozy place I can relax and enjoy.I had it for 3 months, and it's not breaking apart yet. I hope they last a long time. We'll see.I’m on my second season with this. I’m only expecting to get 2-3 seasons out of it honestly. The side facing the sun was of course lighted up about 10 shades last year. It seams fairly sturdy and for what I paid, I didn’t expect to get much more than a few years out of it. If you’re looking for a decent sturdy shade for the money and you have expectations of about 2 summers out of it, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect the color to hold either. I’m not sure if there are tarps out there that can hold their color any better either. Maybe pick a lighter color that you won’t notice the fading as much?I am very happy with the sail shade that I bough, I use it down beside my tennis court to provide a shady place to rest/watch. The shade sail itself stands up very well, does require an occasional tightening on the turn buckles, which is to be expected. My only negative feedback has to do with the relatively poor UV tolerance. I live in a location where the sun exposure is high year-round. The bright orange shade sail that I bought faded to a salmon/pinkish shade sail within a few months.I live in the deep south and have a 15' x 27' inground pool that gets hot in August and September. I put this overour pool using boat cleats and the water cooled down right away. My wife enjoyed being able to float under the covering to get out of the sun. In the winter it was easy to take down and put away so it doesn't get torn by wind and rain.
