Our Texas summer with months of triple digits was brutal on our butterfly gardens and west facing office wall. We ordered, it arrived in a day, and we installed it so the shade would drape our garden and cover our west wall. It worked! We'll take it down this fall but have it for the future Global Warming summers that I'm sure will continue.Good quality product for the price.With so many options and every other saying theirs is the best. This one is great! I did not use the rope it came with but the sail itself is really good quality and it really does make it 10-15 degrees cooler under it.We have had this up for about a month and it looks great. It provides wonderful shade and we are really enjoying it on our back deck. I did buy the recommended hardware, but we ended up using something else because it didn’t feel sturdy enough.Got this for our back patio that sees sun for majority of the day. Keeps the patio at least 10-15 degrees cooler. Works very well. We will see how well it lastNice shade sailHad them installed 3 years ago, still look brand new. Very durable, very high shade coverage.I just recently purchased 3 of the 10x15 ruby red sun sails and am pleased with the results thus far. It’s only been a few days since I’ve installed them so can’t honestly give a rating on water resistance or durability at this time. Only time will tell how they will fare against the Arizona heat and monsoon season in the coming weeks.Main reason for this purchase was to provide some shielding from the heat during afternoon high temps on the west side of my house in which the walls are of brick construction. Since brick retains heat better than other material, this side of the house tends to be warmer than the rest so it made sense to provide some heat deflection. After installing the sails, one could notice a temperature drop standing under the sails. My wife even noted a temp difference in the corresponding bedrooms so this is working as expected for now. Again, time will tell on how well they will hold up.Another benefit is reducing heat stress on my flower/garden box on this side of the house. Last summer’s temperatures in excess of 110 nearly decimated all plants growing in this area. Now that the sails are installed, plants should continue to thrive well into the fall season.The sails have been up for several days and I may have to adjust the line tension to reduce middle sagging. I’m keeping in mind that increasing tension too much can stress weak points thus reduce longevity of the sail so will proceed with careful attention.Overall, I’m satisfied with this product and looking t making another purchase in the near future if all goes as planned.Quality seems good; too early to tell, will have to see how it lasts over the summer. That being said, the blue color is very close to a tarp look, which is unfortunate. I was looking through so many companies that when I received it, I thought they made a mistake as the mounting kit was not included, and I thought I ordered a rectangle. I think due to the various size options in the drop-down, the wrong size got selected. Just be careful about that, as that was the mistake I made.I would suggest getting maybe an off white color, and the rope provided although very good, it's just one piece, so technically pointless, it's not enough for all four corners. So if you want all your corners to have a matching style rope, the included rope is useless. It would have been great if they provided four of them. Don't buy this over another product just because the rope is included.If they had four ropes of the same length, and mounting kits, along with separate sail sizes, not a drop-down. It would have been an amazing purchase worth 5 stars.I like it and it works well but at first i was going to return it because it was like a big plastic tarp as opposed to a canvas cloth feel/look. But I put it up because i was having guests and then once it was up it wasn't as noticeable and apparently that's what it needs to be like to block UV rays - not sure but that's what i read. Anyhow, it is working and very very durable.Quick delivery and love it. It sheds lite rain. As it turns out I was thinking I bought waterproof one. But this is serving the purpose for now I will be ordering another one that is waterproof for sure.Looks great. Has withstood 90 km winds and Gail. Great look when paired with the triangle. Love it
