Overall, let me first say that I actually rather like this tent and I am overall happy with it.However, it has very little water resistance if any at all. All of the seams leak water in moderate rain. Now if you’re not intending to use it as a rain shelter then it’s not a problem.Only other problem I can think of offhand is that it had a very strong bleach/burned plastic smell right out of the box, but that went away after leaving it set out a couple days. Besides that, the material of the canopy honestly seemed a little tight over the frame when I first set it up, but it seem to stretch a little bit after I left it set up for a week. There is no layer underneath to block sun from shining through so hopefully you enjoy the tan color because everything under the canopy will be tan in the sunlight. For clarity and specifics, I actually use this tent for setting up to vend at outdoor events, So a couple of my issues with it won’t really be a problem for someone who simply using it as a temporary gazebo in their yard.Overall, I would recommend this tent. The single person set up is actually kind of interesting, and that’s definitely a feature that I like from this brandThis tent lasted through some really strong winds and only had a one of the nettings at the top rip. Was not too bad to set up with the help of my mother-in- law. Taking it apart was way faster and easy for just me. It does need a better way to hold the side nets, the rope was not as sturdy ( side screen hung little lower than we would have liked) as we feel it needed to be. The sides did come down all the way to the ground even with the height being all the way up. The bugs mostly stayed out, they still found ways in as bugs do, but was not that bad. When it rains the water collects in the top, when it collects enough it flops off. We had it set up on our back deck so it made a plopping noise when it collected enough. The rain came through the holes and mesh netting on the roof, so not able to use while it was raining anything but a light misting.I bought this for my renaissance faire group to use. Our season is light (2 weekends, and we used it for an additional weekend at another event), and we're in an area of the faire ground that doesn't get strong winds. You cannot set up this canopy with less than 2 people, but 4 is ideal. It does get easier the more you set up.The color and structure are great. not too modern that it requires significant alteration to fit in at the ren faire, but not a headache to put together like a period-accurate tent would be. The vent at the top can let in a bit of rain if there's any breeze, as do the grommeted holes on each side of the canopy, but it's pretty minimal (and we tie a tarp over the top for overnight, just in case). The rings on each leg and the loops inside to attach the wall pieces make decorating this tent SUPER easy for our group, which has made our faire setup much less of a hassle.I wouldn't recommend this canopy for heavy/super frequent usage, but if you're going to be using it a handful of weekends out of the year, it's a great value!Overall I’m pleased with this purchase but I’ll offer the things I feel are “misses” on their part. First of all, you cannot open this very easy with only two people even though it says you can. I opened it with 4 the first time and it was great, second time with two it was frustrating. The top corners do take a little strength to push up into the lock position, at least until you get one or more done (easier as you go along). The instructions for the net assembly are vague. At first I didn’t place the net around the poles and it just blew in the wind and then I realized I needed to go outside the poles. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the instability of the frame. I think it is nice enough for the price and you need to follow the securing recommendation of both stakes on the feet and the tie that comes to the ground from the top corners. We secured the gazebo as suggested and it has held up to winds with no issues so far. I do think the stakes could be a bit longer for better stability. Overall, pleased with the purchase though and would recommend. It looks very nice once assembled.Well, I was able to use this for a total of about 3 hours. I assembled it myself, which wasn't easy. I was hoping to be able to leave this up rather than put it up and down as needed since assembly was rather difficult with one person. Seemed ok, although not sure how well it would have kept the mosquitos out, there seemed to be plenty of gaps. But then a rain storm came in... I wanted to see how it held up, but the storm came with some unreal gusts of wind. Fortunately I was watching this and ran out to hold the frame down. It wasn't enough. The wind tore the clips off the canvas for 2 of the tie downs and one corner came free and it just began to crumple. At this point I am just holding the crumpled mess so it doesn't go airborne into the neighbors house. So it may hold up in a mild storm, but definitely make sure you anchor in solid ground, and maybe tie the ropes directly to the frame because the clips did not hold up. To be fair I don't think any pop up canopy would have held up in this storm, and I am just fortunate I was home to prevent any further damage. My husband put this together himself however he did need assistance with raising it. I helped with that part. We couldn't use the stakes for the legs due to so many rocks but somehow managed to get the guy line stakes in the ground and the canopy tied down. It is a sturdy metal frame and has held up well in mild rainstorms. It is NOT waterproof and just barely water resistant but we bought it for shade not rain. The screens are awesome! Definitely keep the pests out. The zippers are easy to open and close. We have received many compliments on it and has inspired others in the camp to get one. We love it! I'll post a pic when I get the chance.Update: We bought sandbags that attach to the legs for added weight and stability during moderate winds. We lower the canopy if it is going to storm heavily and has worked well.
