How To Order Our Chains If you order multiple quantities, they will be delivered as one continuous chain. The exception is welded brass chains, which have a maximum length of 10 feet. Additionally, it's a perfect metal for chain and decor because it can be finished to accentuate any room. Since steel is susceptible to rust, it's best for interior use only. Our hefty steel chains are ideal for hanging heavy chandeliers, large mirrors, and picture frames. About Stainless Steel Chains When it comes to household hardware and products, stainless steel is used in just about everything. Our customers often use these chains for hanging plants, patio decorations, and swings. About Welded Chains Welded chains, signified by a -W in the title, are made from links that are welded closed. This increases maximum weight load, but the links cannot be opened up to directly connect. A chain connector, sold separately, may be required to attach the chain. About Unwelded Chains Unwelded chains, signified by a -U in the title, are partially or entirely made from links that are not welded. The weight capacity will not be as high as welded chains, but for most unwelded chains, the links can be opened with pliers to adjust the length or directly connect to an item. About Maximum Chain Lengths Unwelded brass chains (-U) have no length restrictions, while welded brass chains (-W) may be limited to 10 feet.
